I’m a solo acoustic performer who plays stripped-down acoustic renditions of popular rock and country songs from the 60’s thru 90’s with some current songs sprinkled in sets. With an eclectic range of songs, my sets will bring back memories that guests will definitely enjoy. Crowd interaction is important to me and makes the shows even more fun. My name is Lee Melton, a musician here in Carlsbad. I have officially been playing gigs in San Diego area since May of 2022. I had played music for some local bars and friends in Florida during college, but really got pushed by my wife and kids to play music for folks here in California. My performances are driven by my voice and accompanied by my acoustic guitar. I really enjoy all genres of music from multiple generations. I tend to keep the music upbeat with the rhythm of the guitar and do my best to read the crowd with song selection. My artist list is always growing, but some the artists I enjoy playing are: Jack Johnson, Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan, Donavon Frankenreiter, James Taylor, Ben Harper, Elton John, The Eagles, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, Garth Brooks, Morgan Wallen, Bruno Mars, most 90’s pop rock, CCR and other various artists from 70’s to current.
