Whitestone was formed in January of 2000 – in response to a songwriters showcase in Nashville Tennessee by Debbie Tavernier. Since then, Whitestone has performed in local clubs, as well as weddings and events all over Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, Hutto, Lago Vista, and Lakeway. Whitestone has performed with Alan Jackson’s Band - The Streyhorns - in Nashville as well as performing and doing studio work with Malford Millagan (Storyville). Whitestone has performed at SXSW and toured/performed in Texas, Oregon, Washington, Nebraska and Tennessee. Television performances include Fox morning show and KXAN music at noon, as well as a featured story with KXAN’s own “Out on the Porch” with Jim Swift.

Our clients have included corporate events for Dell, Applied Materials, Intel, DR Horton, and The Home Depot as well as a host of charities such as the local Cancer Society, Relay for Life, The Capital Area Food Bank and BACA.

Whitestone’s music has been compared to that of Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, and the Eagles with strong lead and harmony vocals. We play a full mix of Country, Classic Rock, 80's rock, Blues, Motown, Hits of Today, and of course our own originals. Whitestone is sure to entertain a wide variety of people. We constantly update our songlist to make sure we remain fresh and exciting to our repeat customers, who are delighted when Whitestone returns to their venue.
