In the winter of 2014, college friends Ben Foerg & Josh Loney decided to make the move to Los Angeles. Once in LA, the duo had the idea turn Foerg's folk songs into rock tunes, going after a sound resembling a fusion of Bob Dylan and Pearl Jam. In late 2015, they released their first effort, "The Trigger Warning EP," produced on a laptop in their run-down apartment. hey set about finding a drummer, settling on ex-Mormon Colin Jensen after burning through four drummers in a few months. A month after Jensen joined, they played their first show at the Black Rose Tavern in West LA, right across the street from Foerg and Loney's apartment. After the release of their second EP, they received the status of " the hardest-working band in LA".
