Record Year is a four-piece alternative rock band based in Los Angeles. Their manic sound ranges from fuzzy, heavy grandiosity to a more subdued melancholy, all tinged with poignant introspective lyrics. Influences include the likes of Manchester Orchestra, Modest Mouse, Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer, Alabama Shakes, and Kanye West. The band is currently at work completing their forthcoming debut album, with three songs currently available on iTunes and Spotify.
