About Los Bohemios Perdidos

Composed of singer/songwriter/guitarist Javier Jara (from Ecuador) and guitarist Carlos "Millo" Ufret (from Puerto Rico), Los Bohemios Perdidos plays Latin-American popular and folkloric music from the Río Grande to Tierra del Fuego (in case you need a geography refresher: the Southernmost tip of South America). Together they bring forth their interpretations of classic and new boleros, tangos, bossa-novas, Brazilian sambas, Argentinian zambas, Peruvian waltzes and landó, Cuban sones and other Caribbean styles as a guitar/vocal duo, and when possible, as a guitar/vocal/bass trio, a guitars/vocals/bass/percussion quartet, to as a quintet with and added melody instrument.

Javier Jara holds a Bachelor's degree in classical guitar performance, and a master's degree in music education (specializing in choral conducting).

Carlos Ufret holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in classical guitar performance.
