LaLa Deaton is a country/pop/jazz artist and songwriter from Baltimore, MD, currently living in Nashville, TN. Formerly a member of the band Sweetwater Rose, LaLa released her first solo album in 2015, an all-original, 1940s-style, big band Christmas album, and and her second, a pop-country EP, in 2016. LaLa has had songs cut by Bailey James, Tanya Marie Harris, Sweetwater Rose, Ambyr Effect, Jon Nite, Susan Erwin, Clarkia Cobb, Michael Browning, Charlie Rey (The Voice) and Mike Short Jr. (Sweet Home Alabama reality tv series) to name a few. As an artist, LaLa has played everywhere from the famed Bluebird Cafe in Nashville to the House of Blues and Molly Malones in LA. When she's not writing and recording her own music, you can find her doing session work, touring and singing gigs with artists such as Bekka Bramlett, Jim Lauderdale, Cooper & the Jam, Luci Lampe, Jeanne Petersen, Bailey James, Turk Tresize, and Joshua Gray and the Graysmiths.
