Formed in 2013 by singer/guitarist Micah Paredes, Kalijah is a three piece rock band from Austin, TX whose sound is heavily influenced by indie rock stalwarts such as Modest Mouse, My Morning Jacket, and Portugal. The Man, as well as Texas legends such as Townes Van Zant, Guy Clark, and Jerry Jeff Walker.

Kalijah blends these distinctly different influences into a flavor of Indie Rock that delivers carefully crafted lyrics woven through textures that range from psychedelic blues, to dusty Texas folk. The band is currently in the process of preparing a debut release and can be found making noise in venues across Central Texas
