Josh Weinstein is a songwriter, arranger, producer, author and freelance musician originally from New York. His 2008 album "Love & Alcohol" received CMJ-charting airplay on nearly 300 stations worldwide and was licensed by MTV. His album "Brooklyn Is Sinking" appeared on "Best of 2006" lists at both WFUV and npr.org. His "junkyard acoustic" vibe evokes comparisons to Tom Waits and Dr. John, but his "voice" is all his own. Part bluesman, part raconteur, Josh's intimate live shows are soulful and unique.

Josh is active as both a sideman and featured performer in nightclubs, concert stages and recording studios throughout Southern California.
