While known for the somber tone set with emo/soul debut album Best Supporting Actor, Jordan Esker & the Hundred Percent have the live presence of four brothers egging each other on. Their new album “Fail to Learn” pit stops at 70s yacht rock, modern gospel, 60s wall of sound, and noise, but the band cranks the organ, saw synths, heavy drums, and clustered guitar chords to drive ever further into what future American heartland rock will sound like.
