Reigning from his stomping grounds of Provo, Utah, and currently residing in Austin, Texas, Johnny blends an array of genres in creating his signature, Texas Rockin Roll sound.

Listening to the Beach Boys at the tender age of three, and learning to play the guitar, influenced by The Beatles, at the dawn of his teenage years, Johnny embarked upon his musical passions during the early stages of his life.

Influenced by diverse industry artists such as Bono, Sting, John Mayer, and Jack White, Johnny began traveling the country contributing his Bass and Guitar talents to an array of cover and original bands.

In 2008, Johnny challenged himself as a solo artist by completing production on his debut, LP, Johnny Austin, One of a kind, comprised of feel good lyrics and high energy tunes. With a plethora of clever, catchy songs, Johnny aspires to tour the state of Texas indefinitely, as he has already taken center stage at a slew of small and large venues throughout the state.
