Acoustic/Americana, singer/songwriter John McDonough has over 20 years experience performing in and around his hometown of Austin, Texas. Since retiring from psychotherapy in 2010, John has released three CD’s of original music, played over 300 gigs, performed in seven music festivals, and has made several appearances on local radio. John’s 2014 release, ‘Dreams and Imagination’ received great reviews all over Europe and spent six straight months on the Americana Radio Chart in the United States. 2017 will be a year of touring the United States supporting his latest release, ‘Surrounding Colors,’ also currently on the AMA Chart.
