Grupo Massa is a World music band based in Austin Tx. With members from Brazil, Germany and Texas, the band fuses their rich musical backgrounds into a vibrant, funky and innovative world music. The unique instrumentation of accordion, vocals, percussion, bass and drums plus a fearless approach creates a musical freedom. It allows the band to play a Miles Davis composition seamlessly after a folkloric Brazilian tune in the same set.
