Ezekiel Jay is a San Diego singer/songwriter taking contemporary indie rock and infusing it with echoes of classic soul. Originally from Northern California, Ezekiel is a dynamic performer whose live performance has been described as having "great energy and passion."

Solo
I play a mix of original songs and covers from the 60s-2000s and some traditional songs as well. I usually play on an acoustic guitar and sit on a cajon (box drum) that I play with foot pedals. So a bit of a one-man band that sounds full and upbeat. I do have my own PA/mixer.

Band
I play a lot of original songs with my band, but we do a fair amount of covers as well. We can do 2 piece up to 5 piece or more (if we have brass section). The music style is what I like to call indie rock with 70s soul influences.
