A singer/songwriter/guitarist based in San Francisco, CA, Eddy Shin was introduced to music at the age of six through the cello. As he grew, he became fascinated with the guitar and the ability to improvise and write music, rather than read it off of a sheet. Switching to guitar at 14 and self-teaching himself, he gradually honed his skills, listening to other guitarists such as John Mayer, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, and Eric Johnson. He also started writing his own tunes and recording them in his bedroom and his apartment in college. He now plays a soulful, eclectic blend of pop/rock/jazz/blues to create music with smooth melodies, searing guitars, and heartfelt lyrics.
