DAYEATER, Austin's loudest psychedelic-trio, formed at the beginning of 2014 out of desperation. Our guitar player lost his hand in a tragic 9-string guitar accident, our bass player suffers from a crippling insulin addiction and our drummer is vegetarian. We grew through it all and after two years of performing around Texas, we released our first album Voices Out Of Nowhere in October 2016. Singing and songwriting comes from all three members, creating powerful soundscapes with our vocal harmonies and psychedelic riffs. Our fans say we sound like Blue Cheer and MC5 had a baby that was adopted by the 13th Floor Elevators. Please consider letting us entertain for your party or event.
