David Jenson has performed live acoustic guitar looping around the world, and is currently gigging in the San Diego and Southern California area; he's also (alongside his wife, Keila-Rae) half of the alt-folk duo The JourneyBirds
David's solo music consists of live looping (sampling and playing-back different rhythmic, bass and lead lines on the guitar to create layers of synchronized sounds), creating engrossing and fresh new takes on current and classic songs, as well as original improvisations.
From Fleetwood Mac to Tame Impala, Waylon Jennings to Coldplay, David spans a broad variety of genres with an upbeat and memorable acoustic guitar arrangement.
Looped guitar can be excellent ambient/back-drop music for cocktail hours or receptions, create chilled-out vibes for art exhibits or cafes, or can take lead for venues primarily featuring live music performances.
