Producer, rap artist and songwriter, D-Edge, has been setting the music industry ablaze since his emergence on to the scene in the late 2008. As founder and Co-CEO of Xsquisit Company LLC, his independent production label based in Gary, IN, he’s responsible for the growth and development of independent artists regionally, as well as nationwide with the reach of his own internationally recognized music stretching to the U.K. and Japan.

Inspired by all genres of music, D-Edge started by releasing several mixtapes locally that created a strong buzz. One person that was impressed with his music was DJ Roc, who was the DJ for Freddie Gibbs (ESGN). D-Edge later established Str8 Slammin’ in 2010 with Freddie Gibbs (now of ESGN) and DJ Roc. D-Edge can be heard on several releases of Gibbs including "How I Feel" (MidwestGangstaBoxframeCadillacMuzik), "My Nigga"(BFK), and "Ten Packs OF Backwoods" (ESGN).

After departing from Str8 Slammin'/ESGN in 2012, D-Edge released "The All Day" EP, which was met with rave reviews and dubbed by The Smoking Section blog as "the best trunck anthems of 2013". D-Edge released his follow up, "The Trueprint" which boast singles like "The Gawd", "Dive" and "The Freshest Kidz" which are all in heavy rotation and being received very well.
