Cat Ridgeway is an accomplished genre-bending singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Orlando, Florida. She discovered songwriting while in middle school after picking up the guitar and realizing she didn’t yet know how to play any existing songs. She started noodling around. And she never stopped.
That noodling lit a fire that has since brought her from writing songs in her bedroom to opening the main stage at 2018's Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival for Arcade Fire, Leon Bridges, Lil Dicky, Local Natives, and Trombone Shorty.
Just before Okeechobee, Cat won indie rock duo Tegan and Sara’s world wide cover contest (chosen by Tegan and Sara themselves). Cat has also had the privilege of working with the likes of Gordon Kennedy (co-writer of "Change the World" recorded by Eric Clapton) and many other notable producers and players.
