Breaks and Swells is an upcoming funk and soul band in the style of old MOTOWN, and as always, dressed to the nines. The ensemble has been playing dance tunes all over Seattle for over 3 years, at such venues and festivals such as Barboza, Nectar, Tractor, Neumos, Capitol Hill Block Party, and Macefield.
Usually around 7-9 pieces: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keys, Lead Vocals, Sax, Trombone - and occasionally percussion, and extra brass. Bring Dancing shoes.
