A fusion of delta blues that teases the mind of a drifter and words that would make anyone reflect and dream of being a road worthy vagabond. Gritty, wreckless, sexy, sharp tounged and heartfelt. All characteristics that describe the music and sound of Billy Kiesel. Born in the heart of San Antonio Texas, music surrounded Billy from an early age. The South Texas sound such as Sir Douglas Quintet and many other were instilled in a young boys memory. Growing up hungry and thirsty for performing he got his first taste of a crowd when he was 13 years old. From then on he played bars, clubs, honkytonks and wherever good music was wanted. Cutting dozens of acoustic demos and eventually graduating to full band status. In 2003, Down That Dusty Road was his first full ensemble. A Cd of traveling songs and a ear splitting love ballad called "I don't care if you don't love me". Captured, recorded in 2004 was a fast paced rock and roll EP. Which included the singles Monster and Rosalie. By the time 2013 came around, Billy was touring and writing relentlessly throughout the lower US. The life of gigging and traveling layed the foundation for the CD 'Kee-zul'. Songs like Turnaround Tupelo and Rockin' with The Blues gave way to a fast paced bluesy tempo, while I Wrote For You and Leaving You set the tone for a heartfelt melody and a slick tongued accompaniment. After a few years dormant to performing, Kiesel up and made a drastic change with both his personal and musical life. In late 2015 he started work on a new record entitled 'The Dared-Devil'. New songs, new ambition and a new way of thinking. "You have to go through it all to make people understand your songs, its almost like being the guinea pig. I made alot of my bad decisions and mistakes almost on purpose just to find a song." Everything you would want to hear and feel is what you will experience at a live performance. Be sure to check Billy Kiesel out in a town near you. Ride On.....
