A Maré means "the tide" in Portuguese, the tide that connects two lands - Africa and America - that has been swaying back and forth for centuries. Our music is the result of this movement: a mix of cultures, genres, ethnicities, languages, and rhythms.

Influenced only by the moon, sun, and rotation of the Earth, then we add our own elements, our hearts, souls, and hands, to create something you'll enjoy every minute of.
